Sugaray Rayford is back with a new single. “Margin Call” is a hypnotic, meditative soul blues slow burn recalling greats like Bill Withers and Bobby “Blue” Bland. It’s about desire and risk and the moment that they call in your marker. It’s a metaphor for the ultimate reality check. When one risks everything for success and things start slipping away; you lose control of your time, finances, relationships,  job, reputation, your life. As you become more desperate, you take bigger risks, telling more lies, in hopes of avoiding total collapse where it all comes crashing down. Grammy nominated, 4X Blues Music Award Winner, international touring.

The pair's first collaboration, Somebody Save Me, earned Rayford a 2020 Grammy nomination. Later that year he took home Blues Music Awards for 'Soul Blues Male Artist' and 'B.B. King Entertainer of the Year.' Rayford’s follow up In Too Deep won a plethora of awards including the Blues Music Award for ‘Soul Blues Album of the Year’.

Rayford’s new release is entitled ‘Human Decency’. The title track is a simple reminder that our similarities are stronger than our differences and in the end, there is no black or white or left or right, there are only hearts and minds.
